The year 2026 holds special significance as NCASA celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1976.

NCASA is honored to welcome Dr. Miguel A. Cardona, the 12th U.S. Secretary of Education, as the keynote speaker for our 2026 Conference on Educational Leadership. With a 27-year career dedicated to advancing educational access and equity, Dr. Cardona has championed priorities such as academic recovery, educator support, mental health, global competitiveness, and college affordability.
He will open the conference with a focus on, “The Future of Education in America,” setting the stage for an inspiring and forward-looking event.
