Katherine Joyce
Executive Director, NCASA
As Executive Director of the North Carolina Association of School Administrators (NCASA), Katherine Joyce directs daily operations in providing communications and professional development services to NC school leaders. She also leads NCASA’s advocacy efforts in the NC General Assembly and with other policymaking boards and commissions impacting public schools and their personnel. She has served as Executive Director since 2013 and as Chief Lobbyist since 2003, after beginning advocacy work for other constituencies in 1998. Katherine is a 2004 graduate of the Education Policy Fellowship Program and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill, with a concentration in political science.
